The “Bacana” chair is Campana’s first project industrially developed using 100% recyclable polypropylene, known for its durability and resistance. Its twisted design spreads freedom and anarchy on a large scale. The embracing curves and intertwined knots of plastic evoke the studio’s ethereal, youthful, and dynamic language. “Bacana,” which in Portuguese slang means “cool,” perfectly translates Campana’s vocabulary while utilizing minimal quantities of material, establishing a new standard for sustainable design and mass production.
