Montblanc Meisterstück Origin Collection – Olympic Special Edition Doué MB131368
To celebrate the centenary of the Meisterstück in 2024, Montblanc pays tribute to the origins of its iconic writing instruments with a collection inspired by the spirit of the 1924 Chamonix Olympic Games. Coincidentally, 1924 marks both the launch of the Meisterstück and the first Winter Olympic Games in Chamonix, at the foot of Mont Blanc. Both Montblanc and the 1924 Chamonix Olympic Games embody the pursuit of the best possible human achievement through master artisans and sporting heroes.
This Doué Edition combines a precious blue-gray resin body, reflecting the official color chosen for the Winter Olympic Games, with a platinum-coated cap engraved with the mountainous landscape of the Chamonix valley. The Olympic rings, part of the traditional Olympic logo, are engraved on the top ring of the cap, framed by a wreath reminiscent of those offered to ancient Olympic champions.
The cap is engraved with the words Olympic Games Chamonix 1924 within a frame inspired by the cover of official Olympic articles. The cap ring bears both 1924 and 2024, highlighting the significance of both years. Completing the edition, the Montblanc emblem on the top of the cap is made of precious coral resin, an iconic Montblanc color.
